was lost during the Fire.

We have received the new chief's vehicle,
it's a crew cab 4wd Truck. It needed the labeling and radios, but it sure

Work almost completed on Engine
317 The work on Engine 317 is progressing
nicely, with new communications equipment, tires and rims. Before you know
it, you will see E317 going down the road to a call or being sent out on a strike
team assignment. Here are some candid photos of Capt Terry giving the engine
compartment a final look before he closes the hood.
Let there be Light ...
The station is getting new energy efficient
LED lights. Capt Bill applied and received an energy grant, the grant includes
entry doors, insulation and LED station lights. The new lights are over the
bay doors and parking area in front of the station, a new spot light for the
flag and a new flood lamp in the back of the station. We will also
be installing other lamps around the station to brighten things up.
--UPDATE--
All the lights have been installed at Station 1. There is now a good amount
of light to brighten up all the dark areas, that make the station safer at
night.
